In Digemax tablet, 1000 units of amylase can digest 1 g of starch. Hence 65,250 USP units of amylase in Digemax tablet will digest approx. 65 g of starch, which is equivalent to 1 bowl of rice, plus 2 chapatis, plus 2 potatoes.
1000 USP units of lipase digests 3.5 g of fats. Hence 20,000 USP of lipase in Digemax T will digest 70 g of fats. This is equivalent to the fat content of 4 parathas, one bowl of rice, a chicken gravy, a bowl of dal and a sweet-dish.
1000 USP of protease digests 1 g of protein. Hence, 93,750 USP of protease in Digemax tablet can digest approximately 94 g of protein. This is equivalent to a heavy meal consisting of 200 g of paneer gravy, 1 bowl of dal, 3 rotis, a non-veg dish like fish or chicken, and 1 bowl of curds or yoghurt.
